Register of places, villages and farms

• By- och gårdsnamn Database. Village and farm names. Register that shows on which pages a village or farm name is displayed in a Household Examination Record (Husförhörslängd).
• Rosenbergs geografiska lexikon Database. Rosenberg's geographical dictionary. Contains information about 66,000 places in 1870s Sweden.
• Rosenbergs geografiska lexikon Downloadable datasets (in Swedish).
• Topographical register (TORA) Database. Search places. Shows where villages and farms were located with reference to administrative districts through time.

Real estate books (court archives)

• Lagfartsböcker 1875–1933 Database. Land certificates 1875–1933.
• Lagfartsregister, Gotland Database. Index of Title Deeds. The registry contains more than 77,600 records of uppbud and fastor for the Gotland countryside and covers the years 1800–1875.
• Fastighetsböcker, äldre serien. Stockholms rådhusrätt Older real estate books from Stockholm City Court (Stockholms rådhusrätt).
• Domstolsarkiv Database. Court archives. Includes inspection and property sales. In AII: Minor Protocols, there are bids, lawsuits, mortgages, as well as the purchase and sale of real estate. In A III: Inspection protocol: legal inspections and access and access inspections, to check that you have fulfilled your obligations to the authority in respect of buildings and facilities.
• Torparförsvar Database. Contains information about Torparförsvar in the counties of Jämtland and Västernorrland for the years 1763 to 1797. To become a crofter, you applied to the county governor for a permit and a letter of defense, in other words a proof that you were farming a croft.
• Västerbottens länsstyrelses landskontor, utslags- och resolutionskoncept 1808–1906.

Real estate books 1933–1990

Real estate books with registers of title deeds, mortgages, etc. has from 1933–1990 been conducted by Enrollment Judges and Enrollment Authorities (Inskrivningsdomare och Inskrivningsmyndigheter), which constituted departments within the district courts (tingsrätterna/häradsrätterna).

Due to the GDPR, the material is only digitally available in Riksarkivets resarch rooms (läsesalar). The older part of the material can, however, be found in NAD by searching Inskrivningsmyndighetens i* or Inskrivningsdomarens i* (for Stockholm, search the archives of Inskrivningsenhetens vid Stockholms tingsrätt arkiv or Fastighetsavdelningens vid Stockholms rådhusrätt arkiv).

The material is physically stored at Riksarkivet in Härnösand.
