Contents The Bohemians, who have received some reinforcements and hope for more, are keen to do battle, but the Imperial commander, Count Bucquoy, is on the defensive. The Bohemians are in good spirits but lack money and hope for loans from Christian IV and Great Britain. The Spanish ambassador has unsuccessfully asked James I to stop support to the Bohemians, to marry his son Charles to a Spanish princess and to exhort the States General to prolong the truce. Rutgers encloses five publications, and some other news.
